When a lone hicker first discovered this lot of sand and strange trees, the town leaders had the military seal it off. They wanted to determine if the trees were a threat to the existing eco system. Lead scientist Adelle Niamh, determined that the trees were no threat, and convinced the council to build a hands on center for children on the lot. With the completion of the center and it's roof top observitory, Ms. Niamh declared the center open to the public.
